Obama is not our president; he's only a candidate.
The media cannot crown him. We voters have to elect him and I don't think it's going to happen.
Too many emails are darting around the country, too many columnists are covering Joe, the Plumber, too many ordinary citizens are scratching their heads trying to follow Obama's coverup explanations for Ayers, Wright, ACRON, and his overall Chicago connections. Obama is losing votes by the second as folks test their hopes against what Obama can really deliver. He doesn't match his own charge of Hope and Change.
When in doubt, these Independents and discouraged Democrats won't pull the lever for Obama. Instead, they will opt for experience and old fashioned American values and will vote for McCain.
Some Republicians will scowl and vote for John as they are at odds with some aspect of his past associations or his present central positions, but they will vote for John. Many will be eager to vote for John as the brave, prepared, seasoned warrior that he is. A few will vote third party but will feel guilty knowing that they might be helping Obama. And the new voters, the youth originally inspired by Obama, will have had time to catch the dissonance between Obama's words and his record, and will vote for the old guy. Ethnic voters will be caught on the horns of valuing life and traditional marriage and will vote for John even though they may be registered as Democrats.
Sure, it's been exciting to see Senator Obama come out of nowhere with his ability to draw huge crowds and famous entertainment names endorcing his candidacy. And he has great skill in working a crowd. Maybe he'll become rich like Bill Clinton and go on the speaker's circuit and really earn the big bucks--that is, after November 5th when he might have to do his real job as a US Senator and have a fixed salary instead of his political war chest.
But the show is almost over. Time to sweep the floor of confetti and balloons, representing the half truths and coverups of the long Obama campaign. Time to sweep out the distorted journalism that refused to cover the background of Obama or of his "colorful" friends. Time to examine his numerous proposals which always involve another government extention into our lives and into our wallets. $$$!!
Time to cherish our right to vote and turn out in full force on election day for John and Sarah.
We know it is time to get back to basics; we understand personal disipline and sacrifice and are will to work with John to get this country back on track morally and financially. And we want to be safe as a nation.
With Obama, every aspect of our lives could be at risk.
